what he means is that 2 ppl running different versions of cont at the same time could make the server lag.
i think that could be true yes,
at my local lan centre, on the pc's they have version 1.3 and 1.5 of Counter-Strike and everytime you throw a smoke when guys from different versions are in the server, it lags badly.Comment

It wouldn't make the game lag because it uses the same protocol between the server and client.
