i tried to get into chaos zone this morning and it said i needed to download the new version of continuum. so i did, and then at the end of installation i hit open. and when i went to chaos again it said the same thing. it did this when i was installing .38 and i had to uninstall the game completely and then install the new one. any way i can avoid doing this again?

Your post is kinda confusing. So you have .38 installed right now, not .39 correct? You might have to go into the registry after uninstalling .38 and remove any entries relating to SS before trying to install .39. Btw, it's at Hkey_current_user\Software\Continuum. After uninstalling .38 remove the entire Continuum tree, close regedit (saving changes, make sure to have a backup beforehand) and try to install .39 again."When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."

Hmm, I didnt have that problem, I just installed cont .39 and then went into my continnum directory and found both .38 and .39 in there. Put all of the .39 stuff into your .38 folder... Theres a dinamic Link Library that .39 doesnt supply... UNfortunatly!!!

problem solved. on closer inspection of what i was doing i found out that it was asking me to download .39, but when i clicked "yes" when it asked me to do so, it directed me to a site that gave me .38. so i was downloading .38 instead of .39. im suprised no one else has had this problem...
to solve it i just went to sshq and dl'ed .39 into my cont. folder.Ripper>cant pee with a hard on
