    Sounds like a good idea to me.
    With the points u gain by killing people u can buy weapons and stuff.Missions would also be great. Some sort of terrorists agains counter-terrorists game style.

      Dammit. I was ready to say that exact same thing. And it cant be blamed on a typo, because i and e are 6 chars apart.

        i think it would be cool if you had that "trench" sort of game, and one of the artillery cannon things could shoot these slow moving bombs, and have a "trigger" to blow them up whenever you want. (press tab to fire... wait press tab again to blow up bomb) that would be cool, also, maybe having control over your bombs, like that cool rocket launcher thing is metal gear solid.

            I reccomend having a way to create a "high ground"...ill post more when i find a suitable way on how to do this.

                I thought of this after reading some other replies that touched on the idea of trenches.

                You have a map separated into several rows or columns stretching across the map. Inside each row (or "trench") are a couple of flags. Each trench wouldn't just be an empty long aisle either, but filled with walls, blocks and obstacles. There would be plenty of openings in the barriers so Two opposing teams would start and spawn in opposite ends of the map, and the ultimate goal would be to extend the line of battle so that your side owns more territory after a certain time limit (measured by who controls the most flags).

                Gameplay would involve both sides rushing through the trenches to somewhere in the middle where they'd be attempting to push the enemy back. Of course, there'd be situations where one team would wind up with a small patch of flags "behind enemy lines".

                An alternative might be if you had a goal on either end of the map and instead of the flags in the trenches, the goal would be to fight your way through the lines like a traditional capture-the-flag style set up.

                The key idea is the use of row upon row of trenches that people would have to fight through.

                Excuse my ASCII. I started out trying to make things more even then realized it might be better if they were jagged. Is this what you more or less had in mind, Jason?
