Change the Lanc!

I was thinking how useless the lanc is.

Instead of making it the so called, shotgunner...

how about making it into a fun ship that is useless in base anyway (so basing doesn't change dramatically).

How about the lanc have 100 energy and can shoot bullets rapidly at the speed of 50. Each bullet would take 10 energy and it would all be red.

It would be the "gas" guy. And if it attached to a terr, or 3 attached to a terr, there would be like 300 bullets running at you. It would be awesome for turreting and would be utterly useless in base since ONE spider bullet would destroy all 3 of the gas guys.

I don't know, what do YOU think the lanc should be?

I kinda like the version that's been used in ?go base... halfway between a warbird & a spider.
Though it could be improved a bit to shoot slightly faster.

When I first played this game the ship I liked was "Lanc" because it's like aiming for itself. It's the "funniest" and easiest ship for the newbs. So keep it as it is.

you guys are no fun. The one in ?go base would require warbird bullets to increase damage. Do you know what that means? NO MORE DUDS! And duds are essential to players like me who play on luck alone!!!

No duds = SUCK!

plus, think of lancs, they would have L3 bullets

As a newb, I like the Lanc. It's fun and easy.

I don't have to really "learn" how to use it, and newbies seem to be attracted to its bullets when I fire.

I like to use it in pub after playing around in one of the slightly more serious arenas.

What's wrong with it? To give it a faster fire rate would take away the slow shotgun feel for it.

I used the Lanc when I first started, before moving to WB. It's a good ship to get the feel of the "icey" controls of the ship. The WB is definately a lot more fun, though, as it is more difficult to pilot.

Leavew the lanc as it is in pub and leave the lanc as it is in base. The changes are fine and the base lanc doesnt destroy the balance of ship power, so leave it
