My philosophy on TW public arenas

It's okay to say "ez" or pub = ez.

Annoying is not. It's actually kind of funny seeing how other players react to being called ez.

It's okay to spawn. The rules state that spawning is lame but it's not a bannable offense.

Stating that it's lame is just someone's opinion, therefore there's nothing wrong with it. My solution for the whiny kids is just spawn back. It's so simple.

Using a weasel is not lame. It actually takes skilled players to use weasels effectively. I have only seen 2 excellent players that use the weasel like a charm. Those two have all my respect.

Using spiders is not lame. Sure you can vulch like crazy, but it's not lame. The best pub spider ever has to be a player called "The Hallow". This guy owns it up in pub.

Teaming on private frequencies is okay. I'ts fun, and easy, but what others don't see is how much we laugh when players get annoyed and start saying our mother's are easy. That's just plain ignorance and stupidity.

The point is, pub is easy, and I will defend the right of any pub lamer.

Ok as you all may or may not know -- all i play is pub.
For 3 years now.
By doing this I've found out many things

1. No ship is a "newb" ship. All have strengths and weaknesses and take different forms of skill to master.

2. Don't take players too seriously. Some (like me are old --33) and most are 13-20 years old, and are wild and rude.

3. Cut your own path in TW pubs. Find out how to play effectively in a way thatt suits your personality. If you don't enjoy basing so much find what is right for you. Its pub and free form structured chaos.

4. Learn from others. Good players and terrible ones can teach you alot, how to live and how to die.
