Mouse problems (again :/ )

Well, the previous mouse problem I had seems to be fixed, but I now have a new one :/

When I lift the mouse off the mousemat the cursor moves off in one direction (The direction and speed changes from time to time.)

If it's very fast it gets annoying because if I am trying to move the mouse I tend to lift it off so it doesn't go off the edge.

It's optical and chordless and I have had a poke about the "eye" and there is no noticeable dust or anything. I have tried a variety of mousemats and I've tried placing the receiver in various positions.

The problem happens whether the mouse is fully charged or been used non stop for ages

Does anybody have a similar problem or does anyone have any possible solutions?

Check for drivers and updates.

It may just be your mouse not liking your computer, I have never been a fan of cordless mice, they can sometimes be unresponsive.
