Question concerning burning VCDs

Okay, here's the situation. I have a two file movie, that requires subtitles. I have the SRT files on my computer, but I want to know if the SRT files will show up on my VCD when I actually play it on my VCD player. If not, how can I synch the subtitle with the video? Another question is that my video files are "Winamp Media File". Does that mean the format is ".wma" ?
