Annnd runs like shit under WIn98/XP.

Gaim runs fine for me in 2000 and XP. I wouldn't use it if it didn't...it's an IM program for crying out loud. The only time I've seen it run slow is when the transparency plugin is enabled.

It seems to me like your computer is having many problems.
What I Recomend:
- If you do not have any valuable data on your computer, just reformant the Hard Drive, an reload everything that you need/want.
+WARNING: Before you do this
- make sure that you have a copy of your operating system and the CD Key.
- make sure you have all your programs on discs, and all of your drivers aswell.
- make sure you have all of the documents you needs on floppy discs or CD's.


* Once you Reformat your Hard Drive, reload the operating system, reinstall all of your drivers for your hardware, and reload everything that you want.
- Doing this will make you computer perform like it is new.

I Recomended that if NOTHING ELSE WORKED. - and no.... its not really darastic... because he wouldnt loose any data. Whats so Darastic about it?
