    Internet Connection Problems?

    Har Har Har, lets so how good our people in TW really are
    - I have this Issue:
    --I am Running continuum, and i have AIM opened. i have DSL.
    ---Every Few minutes, my AIM( AOL Instant Messenger) Dissconects from the server...
    ----Currently there are NO Updates on Aim.com.

      I noticed that if I have ETrust antivirus on, it checks the packets for virusues, which results in massively quick lag jumps. It's annoying when your in a DD and you spike out every 10 seconds when you normally have 30ms.

        Fit: i would like to stay with AIM.... if i wanted to change, i would have switched to trillian, but i dont think that would solve the problem.

        oh, BTW, only my aim disconnects, but continuum runs nice and smooth...

          Just close AIM when you're in game. You can't chat there and play the game...
          I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal...

            Cundor, that is a good idea, but i do not want to do that. Sometimes i alt tab out because things happen, and people instant meessage me, and the need me right away, so i simply alt tab out.
