    For some reason, ctrl-alt-delete isn't working for me; it pops up for a second and then disappears before I can see anything. Help?

      get wintasks, aatools, hijack, anything to see the proccesses then post them here if ur still lost....

        Run a virus scan, avg or the online Trend Micro thing will work. Also run spybot.

            heh I've only used one once, and it crashed thrice on various proggie loads but thanks for pointing out the fact that I'm a retard

                    Looks like you still have the remains of spyware on your system...

                    I think it could be the reason your Task Manager is acting up.

                        Okay, I finally got it solved. First I tried all sorts of Antivirus programs, but most of them didn't work or they would get closed by the virus. So, I had a friend of mine take a look at it and he said I had the Klez virus and managed to rid it off of the system. Anyways, thanks for all the help everyone, I appreciate it.
