help computer start up

my computer won't start up, well it does but then i can't get past the windows login.

i click on user and it starts going and it automatically logs out.

I am using Xp pro. Is there a way to just bypass that log in screen at all?

i've never had to login before today. I've tried booting in safe mode and tried to get in as an administrator but the same things happens. HELP ME.

I had this exact same problem yesterday. I had to re-install Windows via a repair install. Get your install CD and just go through the prompts. System works great now.
