Connection to Server Lost

Old player, recently downloaded SSCU on new machine: (using windows 11) and gone through the setup but i cant get into any of the zones. Each time I get the starfield for a little bit then a popup "Connection to Server Lost".

Do you have the game run as administrator? If not, you should. What version of the game are you logging in with? Through steam or the client?

set your directory server list to this, fetch servers again, restart client, profit?
directory.poid.be sscentral.trenchwars.org sscentral.sscuservers.net subspace.gamespec.org
