mouse startup crash

whenever i start up my comp and i don't move my mouse around like a madman while starting up during the "blue windows screen" my computer crashes... just freezes...

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?
And if so how to solve the problem...

What I want to know is how did you know to move your mouse like a madman.

ehm, i guess i figured it was a good idea since the mouse froze when i didnt move it a lot... SO i moved it more and it didnt crash as often... It usually takes me 6 or so resets to get it to run properly now...

i think ill just have to reinstall everything or something... Thank god for removable hard drives!!

I know it's the standard response, but try a run of some updated antivirus and anti spyware.
