Question about TV repairs.

My parents old tv broke, the screen went a bright green for a brief second then blank... now there's no picture.
I figure the 'picture tube' has to be replaced, just wondering if anyone out there has worked on tv's before and could tell me how hard/expensive it would be to replace.
Got a Toshiba, Model Number : TV35D50
