The security add-on isn't annoying once you have configured it to allow all your games and programs. Definitely download it.Comment

Well I have sp2, just to be assure that I don't get any extra threats to my computer. The only thing that is annoying is the security central. I lost my nerves the first time I saw it. Since sometimes I haft to install windows xp more then once, since my hdd is broken (but still working, some minor glitch), and I haven't had the time or energy to send it support of a new one..
Back to the topic.. Security central is easyly disabled with msconfig. Just hit run, write msconfig, services, search for security central. Now we won't ever see security central anymore.. Also you can disable functions/services that you don't need. I reazlly should make my customized win xp without any annoying search dogs, and stupid things that just requires ram and that are totally useless. And that has service pack 2 intergrated.. ^^'';
So, just download it. I suppose it has some updates that gets rid of some unprotected ports..

Download/install sp2 immediately!
Not updating to sp2 is like not updating your AV, ect.
