Scoreboard Problems ...

Since scoreboards were installed in TWD arenas i cant enter on it. I get a message every time i try it , like this "Disconnected from server , no data comming ..." I can play wbduel and base though which has the scoreboard.
I Think the problem is my computer , cuz im running SS in a pentium
166 Mhz and it can't process it maybe.
Hmmm , can some one help me ? I was thinking if i can remove or change the file scoreduel.LVZ. Is that file the scoreboard file ? O.o

can be it that it is only 166, because the lvl is very hard to load, i got that problem too when i am in windowed mode and want to enter then it starts skipping, but i can enter it

I used to get this problem on my old computer in the #mythrandir, twlb and battleship arenas. It was exactly what you said, the computer can't handle it. All I could do was lower the res if I was going to be playing in those arenas.

I can enter twd arenas playing windowed 1024x800 without gets d/c , but my fps goes to "6" ... 800x600 windowed fps is 25 , reasonable but too small though...
I think i'm retiring from TWD and stuff untill i get a new pc ...

Wow, I can't believe people are still using computers that old. If you try Continuum on a computer that was made in the last 5 years, you will be amazed how much better it will work.

uhm yea, you can get thousands of fps instead of 60

Go to advanved options and check "no framerate limit" to get more fps if u can.

So, you're computer is pumping out 300 fps but your monitor is only showing 60.

So so ... I can enter TWD arena using 800x600 res. windowed. This is the only way to play "dd" and this resolution is stupid i think. Maybe if i practice on it or if i get a new comp.
Anyway i can normaly play twbd , i dont know why i can't fucking enter twdd and twjd arenas . So i'm thinking joining a basing squad ! :up:

Eh, that really sucks ! Tell me what type of computer you have, (e.g. Dell, Compaq, Emachines, etc..) And tell me how much RAM you have, how much GB you have free on you're hard drive, and tell me whats the max resolution for your monitor. Just give me all your computer information.

Ok . I have an APTIVA (IBM) k62 ,pentium 166 , 64 RAM , 14gb free on hard drive , Windows ME and max. resolution is 1024x768.
I can enter twd arenas using 1204x768 windowed , not full screen , but my fps goes down to 3 ... if i change to 800x600 fps goes up a bit : 15 or 25 and its ok to play. That's it \m/ [o.O] \m/
