Colored blurry mess with XviD playback

I downloaded a dvd-rip of the movie Goodfellas which was encoded with XviD. The movie plays ok, but if the camera goes sideways or moves quickly, the picture turns into a blurry mess of colors/blocks. I looked a bit on google but I didn't really find anything. I've never had any problems with DivX or XviD before.

What I want to know is if there is any way to fix this short of downloading a totally different copy of the movie. Thanks.

I think it's badly encoded, it sounds like you're describing "mosaicing" (sp?)

Just go and buy the movie ;p
