Looking for the right cpu

Ok heres the situation. I got a mobo for free that works fine, now I need to find a cpu for it. The problem is I don't know which cpu to get I have looked on ebay and compgeeks.com, The board is a 478b socket and the chip that was in there was a 1.4 p4. So I need to know if I should be looking a 400 or 533 fsb...... does it matter?

It will most likely be a FSB 400.

Why don't you give us the mainboard manufacturer/model? That would give us much more information to help you with.
