Shakey screen

I just updated my win98 to winXP and since now my screen is shakey while trying to enter subspace.. what can I do, anyone?

Windows 98 to XP is a pretty big leap, what are your specs?

That would probably be because your refresh rate is set too high. Go to your user profile in Continuum, and hit "Refresh" (under "Resolution") and change it to a lower rate.

ok guys I tried all your great suggestions, but it didn't help.. I can explain once more to point out what's wrong.. Ok my screen is very fine except if I play ss.. being alt tabbed and chatting in ss won't cause any problem.. And when I play ss about 2/3 of my screen is shaking.. what is wrong.. pls if u have any clue reply to this thread

try changing your res when you play ss. Sometimes if your res is way up there, your screen cant handle it.

if you got cpulag use cctask to change priority of continuum for "high", so it will run better.

i got the last update on schope.webcindario.com , its freeware, try it if you want.

you can change the priority in the task manaer (ctrl-alt-delete).

Also, go into your Continuum advanced options (view -> advanced options) and try it with different combinatins of Software Emulation, Disable Clipping and Avoid Page Flipping.

From what I gather it's the image on the monitor that's shaking, not the actual game, which lead me to believe it was a refresh rate issue...

His video card drivers may not all be up to date either, if it's a 98 -> XP jump.
