  • Winamp Channel hosting...

    What's up everyone...

I'd like to host my own winamp channel and was wondering how I go about doing that. I know that you guys should have a lil experience in that since Da Farmer!, and other peepz hosted Tw radio and such. So any help would be great. Thanx!

Check it out. Follow the directions and if you need any more help just search on Google. It's not hard to set up anyway.

Figure out if you want to buy a server or run it off your own connection. I've got one I'm testing Nullsoft video stuff on and it only cost me 15 Canadian per month for 30G, FTP access, free webhosting package, and 50 MB on-demand space (from serverroom.us but there are a lot more hosts out there. I think TWsites.com or one of dock's other companies sells these types of accounts).
After that you'll need to, from your computer, broadcast using Winamp's DSP plugin to connect to the server and stream music or figure out how to use their on-demand methods for hosting which can be found on Nullsoft's forum.

The link stab gave you will help or you can read through my "how to" for Nullsoft DSP and server configuration here: http://forums.trenchwars.org/showpos...21&postcount=3, you can also PM me when i'm on.
