  • Monitor or Video Card Problem (discolouring)

    My Desktop looks like this....

This isn't bragging about anything, as you can see, the colour is really jacked up. It can't be my monitor cause other people can see the discolouration.l

Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

Yea, I have an old Hercules Radeon 8500 128mb that does the same thing occasionally.

Definetly the vid card. Does it always do that, or only sometimes?

Try to get some new, updated drivers for your videocard first of all; like the guys above said it is obviously a card issue.

This is the first time that this has happened, and has been doing so since yesterday. I'm gonna check the temp and fan right now.

Yeah, the temperature and the fan are fine I'm checking for viruses. Next I'll see if there's any burn marks on it.
