Connection to TW through different UDP Ports

    Connection to TW through different UDP Ports

    Ok, I know it's said that if you have a firewall at school/work/uni you won't be able to get around it to connect to TW.

    Recently UDP ports 7500 and 7501 have been opened (I know this because I can now connect to SSCX A Small Warzone and can see its ping in the main menu.

    I was wondering if there was any way I could connect to Trench Wars (which uses 5400 and 5401) through these two open UDP ports.

      Hrm... maybe you could set up a little program that you can run on your home computer that will allow you to connect to your home computer and have it transmit all the packets it recieves from you to TW and the packets it recieves from TW to you.

      That should get around the port thing :-D

        I needed some help on selecting a laptop..
        I like the ss ppl thats why i use to play and will probably start against sometime in the future.

                        So is it possible? Other than setting up a proxy on my home PC.

                          You can use a program to tunnel UDP packets on a different port. I think you would lag like hell but you might be able to stay in spec. Seach google and download.com for UDP Tunnel/tunneling
