  • LAG!! someone help me please!!

Its been like this for 2 or 3 weeks now... suddenly my s2c packtloss increased from 0% to 4% sometimes more than 6%.
I have runned all the addware and removed all those craps ive done virus search ive ended all processes running in startup ive eliminated all processes using network while running continuum... and it keeps doing the same thing...
Sometimes im even specced by the bot in elim because of my ploss... it had never happened before...

Dont know what else to do if someoone can give me some advice i would apreciate it!! Thanx in advance.

PS: I apologise if there is another thread about this issue but i 've searched some faq's and have found nothing there that i haven't done so i'm a bit desperate... well not desperate but worried...

Please stop using this forum deutschpunkrevolte if you have nothing constructive to add.

DoCk posted this for lag problems:

Besides that call your ISP and see if they have any idea what's going. A router on the path to the server could be causing the packetloss and lag time, not one owned by your ISP so they may not be able to do anything about it.

Would be good to know what type of connection you have etc. Also a trace to the server would be good to include.

I have checked Kolar's link to dock>'s thread and i send him an lag report with all the details he sugested... now i will calll to my isp asking if they are having nay kind of problems... i managed to know from the trace that besides the hopones the only server where i was having ploss was:

              66.36.241.110 sls-cb9p7.dca2.superb.net 4.7 120 130 240

wich happend to be the last server... so my 4.7 ploss was coming from there... superb.net. It might be their problem i dont know...

My type of connection is Adsl 512kbit/seg but it never gave me problems of this kind... even being a 512kbit/seg connection it is very stable and fast enough for SS.

Then there isn't really anything that you can do about it.
