Ok, you know when you just plug in something into your computers usb port lets say like a webcam it says "hardware found"? I dont know why but my computer doesnt recignize anything i plug in. Is there anyway to fix this?

XP usually recognizes almost everything. If it doesn't, go and download drivers for that hardware and then install them manually..megaman89> tsunami taught me that 1 shouldnt have used it

If you have XP, you need sp1 in order to use usb 2.0 devices. Often, the drivers for the USB hardware (root hubs and controllers) will not load until you install sp1. Might as well go right to sp2 anyways.Comment
