Ok, so I've got some new big speakers which I've rigged up to my computer. Thing is, even at max volume, they are quieter than my computer speakers. Is there anything I can do to make the max volume louder? Someone told me that the computer doesn't have enough output or something but I thought I'd post here just to make sure..

big speakers are usually passive, meaning they need an amplifier between the computer and the speaker.
The small "normal" computer speakers are active, meaning they have an in-built small amp.5: Da1andonly> !ban epinephrine

Im assuming they're are normal speakers and not computer specific speakers. If that's the case all you need to get is a receiver and not anything special, just a local pawn shop one will do because all you really need from it is the volume adjustment.
If they are actual computer speakers you may need to consider a new sound card.
