Computer space split in half

My computer is 120 gigs, however I have it split into two drives.

Drive C carries 60 gigs. Drive D carries 60 gigs.

How do I combine it, so that drive C contains 120 gigs and make sure I don't lose any data?

Drive D carries nothing inside it btw.
