  • USB gamepad...

well i borrowed a gamepad from my friend and it worked for a while but everytime i stopped using it and went to go back playing i had to reinstall it (plug it in again). That didn't bother me so much, but now it won't install at all ans i get a message like: a usb device is not recognized by windows or it is malfunctioning blah blah.

i went to the gamepads website and there is no driver for this model, so am i fucked or what?

it's a nexxtech controller, using windows xp... any ideas???

    Gamepads die.
The one I'm on now doesnt have a dpad (but the face buttons work better anyways) and its the 4th one I've gotten.
But I do play a lot of fighting games. Fortunately they're pretty cheap, for a permanent solution, you'll want to find a reliable usb to (your favorite controller here) converter. I dont know what ones are.

Why do you need ps2 controller adapter when there's plenty of pads in market that looks like ps controller?

I got this, has been working fine:

(Had to buy this so I could play FF's with PC)
