ive heard this happening with many WINDOWS XP owners. goto www.rockstar.com and then to the support section. there will be a patch / fix for your problem thereDELETEDComment

Hey try looking in the Help and Tutorial .txt or something in the file menu of GTA. Yes there is the same problem with xp. You need to d/l a .exe file for your drivers or something to get it working. I have geforce 3 ti500, 1.2 ghz athlon, with xp and get the same problem. Here is the link for reference. Try this.
