Intel Application Accelerator

Anyone know any programs that will check/tell me my chipset?

I need to know about my processor because I would like to install a program (Intel Application Accelerator) it speeds up your boot and also runs games/programs more efficient (approx. 20% more)

If I install it with the wrong chipset it can screw up my computer so much so it will not even boot.
