Continuum Problem

hey, everytime i double click the icon file it screws up. The little loading symbol you see beside your arrow cursor flashes and the cpu memory usage spikes like crazy, i haveto run as to open up continuum and if you try to endtask continuum when you double click it it wont let you. Anyone know how i can resolve this?

I guess you've tried to reinstall.. Maybe if you upgrade to the 0.39 pre-release it works again?

its screwed, i can play if i do run as but now if i esc Q it deletes all my profiles and acts like its the first time install.

Just do a backup then. Just copy the profile.bak and the dat file. The I suggest you try the new pre-release version.

Thats the symptoms of what happens when you are double clienting. Are you sure one wasn't loading in the background?

basically, right click on the icon and click 'run as' and it will be ok. BUT this problem occurs when you have anti spyware installed on your comp. hope this helps.

when you do a run as, all the changes you made to the executable (creating profiles, changing key arrangements, adding/removing zones etc) will be undone when you close it. that's perfectly normal. did you try restarting your computer and before you do anything else, starting continuum? try end process tree (ctrl+alt+del, right click on process, click end process tree) and restart it.
