Continuum wont launch

[Cheater #1]

For some reason continuum will not launch... it doesnt even get to the splash screen! Ive re-installed it, re-downloaded it, scanned for viruses and spyware but it still will not work. I press control alt delete and continuum is jumping around on processes so it is difficult to stop it--if i could stop it. every time i try to end it i get an error message that says operation is invalid for this process. Please help!

Arrange the processes by name, DUH. Anyway, this problem has been posted several times by other people.
