  • Real Audio to MP3 converter

I have a RM file I want to convert to either .wav, .mp3, .aac format so I can add to my ipod.

Is there a free converter anywhere?

I downloaded one, but it only allows me to convert half of the file. I don't want to have to buy some software just convert 1 file.

    Thanks.

This is sort of a half-assed way to do it, but it works, I guess..

Play the file back, and set your sound card to record directly from Stereo Mix. Record the playback using GoldWave with 44.1kHz stereo sound, then save the sound as an MP3.

      Thanks. It worked.

I didn't really record anything, just dropped the .rm file and saved as.

AVS lets you do it but it will output to a uncompressed wav file. Compressing it into a proper format is pretty easy though.
