Connecting to TW

Hello,
I want to connect to continuum from school but all the zones show up red. When I try to download the zones it won't download them (yes I'm connected to Internet). When I add custom zone, I'm pretty sure I filled everything in correctly, it still doesn't work. I've read all of the FAQs but then it still doesn't work. The computer has Windows Firewall. How do I overcome it and connect?
Anyone knows?

If you have sufficient privlidges, you can disable the Windows firewall. If not, there really isn't much you can do.

First of all, don't play subspace at school.

2nd, if your school got a good ICT Manager, you won't be able to turn the firewall off.

Also it's pretty likely there'll be a hardware firewall between you and the internet which will stop you being able to play Continuum. I'm afraid there is currently no known way to bypass a school firewall to get into Continuum. If you have a valid reason for wanting to play, (which I highly doubt), you could try asking the IT Admin to open UDP ports 5400 and 5401, this will let you play in Trench Wars. (5400 to connect to the zone, 5401 to see the ping time in the main menu).
