what z fuck

all the img's i save off the web are saved as bmp's, even the animated images!@ as you can guess this is a annoying problem any idea what the fuck i did or how the fuck i can fix it?

You should be able to find the original animated .gif in C:\windows\temporary internet files, or equivalent.

If you're trying to do it with IE, then the problem is your version of IE, most likely. MS has a patch for it--grab it from their site. Or, if you're feeling extraordinarily lazy, get it through Windows Update.
