Ok, here's how the computers in my house go:
Home PC: XP Home, valid key.
Mum's Laptop: XP Home, valid key.
Sister's Laptop: XP Pro, valid key.
My PC: XP Pro, invalid key.
Is there any bad thing that could happen if I change the key of my windows installation on my PC to the same as the one on my Dad's Laptop? When I am at uni, I will have a different IP than the laptop, which will be in France or Portsmouth, but does this matter? Will windows "flag" this key as being "illegally" shared? Or will it be ok. I am asking because more and more things require windows validation etc...
