Can't open Continuum

I can't open Continuum

On my last computer i have had for 3 years it have been working fine,but now suddenly i couldent open continuum.exe =/

I formated the computer and it worked..but after a month the same problem started again.

Now i bought a new computer and its the same problem.

I have downloaded anti-spyware programs and search my computer with anti-virus programs but nothing helps. I have turned off firewalls and antivirus programs ,but still it can't open.

The ondly way to be able to play the game is running the computer in safemode.

Why wount it work in normal mode? I have never had eny problem with this before? I have the same windows and same programs now as i hade before when it was working. Plz , need som help!

matters what your using... if your using spysweeper or some other program like that it will not allow you to run continuum... i had a problem like that i just deleted it and download spy doctor or ad-aware and continnum started to work. some programs are just like that

after using alla anti/spyware/adwarez. I uninstall all the programs but still it dosent work, i have tryied reinstalling continuum but still the same problem.

I gues if you can run it in safemode but not in normal mode..it must be a file blocking continuum to start, because in safemode it runs without enyproblem

Problem fixed! wasent eny spyware/adware/firewall or antivirus blocking it.
Tell me if you having the same problem and i help you!

Run as.

Same thing happend to my pc, then I updated my pc and it worked fine.
So make sure you have all the new windows updates, may be the case.

but for now

use Run As. It wont save stuff but atleast u can play

Im having kind of the same problem. I've used Run As to open Continuum on my dads computer, but lately we tried reinstalling Continuum. This meaning all the zone files were erased, and now they won't re-download/load when I Run As Continuum. If I try to open it regularly, it opens, but then skips around in the Processes when I do Ctrl+Alt+Dlt. So how exactly did you fix this problem? Anyone else have any fresh ideas?

I know it isn't Windows updates, my dad has them all. I've played continuum on his comp a long time, and it hasn't had trouble until now (just as twl starts :turned: ) So any other help is appreciated, thanks!

I am having this problem now that I installed it on my brothers computer, as he wants to play. I remember reading that spyware dlls cause this to happen from some other thread but spyware scans turn up nothing. its pretty annoying, really

I personally think it's past just Continuum. By now 0.38 needs to be updated. The people that have been working on hacking into it/tweaking it, and etc. are becoming successful. My dad looked at the problem, and took the game off his computer because he said either it was a virus, or just highly infected. Continuum needs to be updated, or less is going to become a much bigger problem. I mean who knows, how can I be sure some kid isn't going to get pissed off at me, and attack my computer.. or at least infect Continuum.
