Well my dad recently got low-end shitty dsl. This is a step up from dialup but yet a downfall as this connection is shared between two computers... When noone is using the other computer my lag is like this: PING Current:40 ms Average:40 ms Low:30 ms High:60 ms S2C: 0.1% C2S: 0.0%... when someone, mostly my sister whom i hate very much, uses the other computer like loading web pages usually containing images (my sister and that god damn myspace shit fdijgfh) all the bandwidth is sucked to that and i spike horrible.. This is very bad for twd matches because packetloss and ping spike insanely and i get specced... Basically im looking for a solution to conserve some bandwidth for continuum so maybe it won't really spike insanely, but slightly, still allowing me to play... Currently we're using a router and i'm wireless.. Any advice/solutions appreciated greatly.

yeah, i opted for a 50-foot ethernet cable, so now i can use my laptop anywhere in the house AND get nice speeds. when i move in to my apartment, i'm going to buy some adhesive hooks from home depot and put them near the ceiling, so i can then keep the cords out of the way when i do that sort of thing

some of the more expensive routers lets u priotise bandwidth...but its most likly u have a cheap one..
Another thing that helps lag is to turn off the shitty wireless encryption.Rediscover online gaming. Get Subspace
