    I think my video card exploded

    Any help would be appreciated. Last night I plaeyd both Red Alert 2 (off of the Command & Conquer DVD) and a rom off of my Kgen emulator, both worked fine, and i've never had a problem with either. This morning, when I tried to play Red Alert 2 it said it couldn't set up the video, and when I try to play kgen it works, but instead of one screen i get two screens, so they're shrunk, and the colour is all messed up.

    I'm computer dumb, what do I do? Nobody else has touched it, so this just happened on it's own, i'm running spyware and virus scans, but I've never heard of either effecting a video card. Help please!

    it's now effecting my continuum. it's dropping text and names, like i was watchign dice vs boz, all the dicers were beside each other, but only 4 of them had names, the other guys name just wasn't there. I'm getting error messages now and my cont will only open half the time, and when it does it's in windowed mode, even though it thinks it's in fullscreen.

      If you have a other videocard, try replacing the current one and see if the problem is solved.

        Have you tried reinstalling the drivers or tried older ones?

          download new drivers, if that dont work its done for

            ok, I did a system restore because everything just went to hell, and that SEEMS to have fixed the problem...I'll have to wait and see though.

                oooh good call

                I just want to take the time out in this post to say BIG UPS to system restore, I know it's saved my ass from a pinch before.
