Spikes

I keep spiking pretty badly, often to the extent I get DCd. This only started happening today. Does anyone know of anyway I can "test" to see if this spiking is purely Continuum related or if it's the whole internet?

• Open Continuum so you see the main menu.
• Click on SSCU Trench Wars in the zone list.
• Click on TRACE button (next to ZONES button in the default skin)
• Let the Trace run for 20 cycles or more
• When done, press the 'Export...' button and post the results here. (Make sure you wrap it with [CODE] tags so its readable.)

You can also analyze the results yourself. When tracing you might see red bars showing high ping or spikes. This is evidence that connection from your computer to the TW server have spikes.

If you don't see anything weird then it must be caused by your own computer.

We'll see.

If that's your trace then you need to set your router/firewall to allow ICMP traffic.
