JAVA applications using TCP or UDP programming

Im currently learning java networking, and I was wondering if any of you knew a website that contained source code for java networking apps using TCP or UDP, or a website that has instructions on how to get started. I don't feel like spending anymore money on books, thats why i'm looking around but havent found any websites yet.
