  • Winamp problem.

Whenever a song finishes and moves onto the next one, I only get sound out of one speaker. If I skip the song it goes back to stereo but if I let it play through it will stay in mono.

Never heard of such a thing.

What's your sound card (update drivers?)? Does it do that for EACH mp3 songs?

In winamp you can change the driver that plays the sound.

Go to Options/Preferences then navigate in the left menu to Plug-ins/Output . Select a different plug-in (not the Disk Writer, the NULL Output or the Crossfading since that is experimantal). Then press Close.
I have it set to DirectSound and that works fine.

If you also have it set to DirectSound then you might need to update your directx installation. Run dxdiag (Start/Run), check your version and then update via windowsupdate.com .

      Good luck!
