    Sound problem

    Hello !

    I have a big problem !! It's concerning my sound .. and as music is one of the most important things (next to SubSpace) I need to get it fixed.
    The problem is that since a few weeks I have a lot of noise on my speakers. So I can't ever use my speakers anymore because it's driving me crazy!

    First I thought it was a speaker problem. So to check that I got my iPod, plugged my speakers into my iPod and tested them. And they are fine!! No noise, no nothing .. just clean perfect sound music!

    The other possibility for me was that my wireless keyboard/mouse are interfering the speakers, because when I have my sound on and I move my mouse around I can hear it out of my speakers. Lols that sounds weird, but I can hear another bzzzzzzzz when moving my mouse (next to the bad noise it was making already). Same goes for when I'm for example minimalizing my windows. I can just hear them dissapearing into my taskbar !!
    So I took the batteries out of my keyboard/mouse, unplugged the reciever and plugged in a wired keyboard/mouse. Still .. the same problem!
    So it's not my wireless stuff either !!

    So for me there's only one possibility left .. and that would be the Soundcard. I don't have a seperate soundcard, but I'm using an onboard sound device from my motherboard.

    Does anyone ever experienced this and does anyone might have a solution? Or am I forced to buy a new soundcard? Cuz I don't really want to buy one and then find out it isn't caused by my soundcard....

    Guess what ..
    I fixed it ! So happy now ..

    How ?
    Went to the Sound Volume settings. Then I just muted a few things like "mic", "Line-in" and "CD Player".
    And now all the noise is kinda gone, except for when I put the speakers at max volume .. I hear a little noise, but that's just normal.

      might also try having your ears checked

        lol you could always just turn them down i found mic boost was on my second pc which was why you get that horrible feedback humming in the background.

        yea like i said dont forget if you mute em thats what you've done eg load teamspeak and think wtf my mics broke ect...

          Yeh I had it once aswell ... Thought my mic was broken cuz some dumb setting changed.. So I bought a new mic. Plugged it in and found out it had the same problem ! Then I fixed it and now I have 2 working mics. : (((
