  • my fucking wireless keeps kicking me off for no reason

ok on my laptop, i can get on the internet whenever i want, but after like 5 minutes it disconnects. then, as soon as i go to "view available wireless networks" and reconnect to my network, it is back and working again for 5 minutes, so obviously it has the potential to be connected and is getting signal, but it signs me off anyway. how do i fix this.

If you used the software that came with your wireless adapter to install it, it might conflict with the built in Windows wireless client. A complete uninstall and a fresh driver-only install would most likely solve this.

Personally I had a canyon wireless usb adapter. I googled the type number and found the homepage where I could download new drivers. You could try something useful. Also, try your laptop brand homepage.

Edit: My problems before were that for no reason I lost the signal, especially when doing big downloads (i.e. much traffic). After the driver install this did not happen anymore.
