Continuum 0.39pr1 wont start on VISTA

I am posting this on behalf of Vikings, he can't post here for some reason.

He says he clicks the icon and aboslutely nothing happens. He tried all compatibility modes and is pretty much out of options. It's a laptop btw, if that's any factor.

Post here or contact Vikings in game (he plays on another computer with XP atm).

Hah rofl, missed the vista part on topic.

Editing here something what he said: KDW told him something about a memory control program that restricts continuum of any kind of memory usage, but couldn't help more since he doesn't have experience of Vista.

At least judging by him, it didn't work. So other kind of help is needed.

I don't have VISTA, maybe one of these other guys can give some tips but I'm pretty sure they've only gotten it to run on other versions of continuum, not 39pr1 so if that's an option he should try a different version of continuum.

I run Vista Home Premium x64 and have no problems running Continuum 0.39pr1, so I don't necessarily think it's a Vista problem.

i also run vista and use .39 version and haven't had problems with it except in when i first started using this comp with vista, but for some awkward reason after a couple weeks of playing on it i haven't had any problems since..so no tellin what the deal is.

only problems i had was FPS and graphic issues when i would log in the screen would go all fugly lookin and i would have to re-enter a few times for it to correct itself.
