  • Low FPS

I just installed a Radeon 9550/x1050 128mb series graphics card. My frame limit is really low like 60 to 128(62 until I Disabled Clipping and something else. I thought my framerate would go up after installing a graphics card anyone have suggestions?

I did use the helps in the forum that Stabwound made. I Disabled Clipping and Avoid Page Flipping. That brought it to 128. I also set Contiuum to a High Priority in the Task Manager.

    60 FPS isn't considered low.

If you want to see the actual framerate Continuum would give, disable the framerate limit under View / Advanced Options.

I've come to find that letting Continuum handle the framerate results in the best quality. I can get to about 110 fps on a Radeon 9000 but I feel like a butcher in a slaughterhouse (chop, chop, chop) and my fps will fluctuate
