new threads are not being subscribed to

I was wondering if there was anything wrong with the forums, or if I did something to make new threads that I post to not show up when I click on User CP.

You can click on "Thread Tools" button and then "Subscribe to this Thread" to subscribe to a particular thread. It doesn't happen automatically.

Also, if you have subscribed to a thread you won't get e-mail notification since the e-mail functionality of this forum is broken.

ok now I can subscribe threads using the method above, however no automatic subscriptions are made. Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
