  • Wii Question

I just got a Wii today and when I came home from the studio I saw that the Yellow light on it is on. I know it's supposed to be, because it's connected to the internet service 24/7, on wireless. But, the disc opening is ominously glowing blue from dim to bright. I dunno if it's supposed to be doing this, it's definitely not turned on all the way. If it's cool, though ... oh well. Just thought it was weird to see when I came home, thought someone was messing with it.

If the disk section is glowing blue, it means you have an update from Nintendo.
          Download it!

I think they are more like add-ons to different channels, or notices when there is something new (ie: internet channel!)
It could still be hackable... since they can send you stuff anyways

Project Dragon is right. It means that you have some downloadable content awaiting you or that you may even have a message from another Wii user.
