      XMMS is probably your best bet
      Totem has a crappy one I think (it also plays movies)

      I typically use Banshee, which has no visualizations

        Yeah, I use Rhythmbox, which I use because it has better organizing, etc.. I guess XMMS will do for what I need

        Amarok is for KDE, I'm using GNOME

          I prefer KDE over GNOME, though I roll XFCE for all of my general purpose use
