  • vista question

Anyone know of a way to install vista (preferably ultimate) on a hard drive with less than 8 gigs of space. Maybe a lite version of some sort? I am buildling a machine and my hard drive is only 8.1 gigs(its a solid state hard drive) IT also has to be 64 bit.

If you change your mind and wants a 32-bit system, then this is for you.

      Cant find one for 64-bit.

      Code:
      Windows.Vista.Ultimate in 1 CD (684MB)

      *************** system requirement ***************

      1/ 256 MB Ram
      2/ 4 GB free HDD
3/ good for pentium 3 (see pic under)

      ******************** removed ********************

      1/ Media Center
      2/ DVD maker
      3/ Driver
      4/ language pack
      5/ table pc
      6/ windows sidebars,
      7/ turn off hibernation,
      8/ turn off AUC,
      9/ rate computer-s performance.

PS: What are you doing with the comp?! You wont be able to do anything productive with 8 GB... lol o.o"

The question is begging to be asked...

What 'normal' stuff are you going to do with 8G RAM on a quad core system?

MS has Embedded Vista. I do not know if Embedded Vista is like Embedded XP where you can compile whatever OS features you want, making yourself a lean version.

                      =O...

lol you should get a better hard drive for Vista.
8GB of HD doesnt fit with 8GB of RAM and a quad-core processor (where do you buy them?! O.O probably really expensive eh...)
