Are these compatible?

Someone (foolish) has asked me to build a computer for them, I can do all the fiddly bits but I just wanted to check if the following components were compatible with one another...

The RAM is 27.50, not 51.70. Also, considering how cheap ram is nowadays, you should really get 2GB (Which would = 54.56). You could probably even get 2gb of PC-5300 instead of PC-6400, with that processor there's not really THAT much of a reason to go for the faster RAM: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=143574
2GB of that costs £28 and with the £30 you save you could get a better graphics card like the 8600GT (7300 is a pile of shit, the 8600GT is MUCH better) for £70 - £80.

Also, for £4 more you could get a 250GB HDD instead of the 160GB one you're getting.


Apart from those, everything is compatible and that processor is a great choice.

Also, don't forget the PSU!


EDIT: I guess the prices you put together some time ago? The E4300 isn't even on Scan.co.uk anymore and for the £73 you put, you can get the E4500 which is 2.2GHz which is a nice bonus.
